The Cedarcroft school year begins immediately after Labor Day and ends shortly before Memorial Day. We set the school year calendar to fulfill the session requirements of the Maryland State Department of Education. Cedarcroft School has traditional school breaks during Thanksgiving, Christmas and in the Spring.

Mornings:
Doors open and students arrive.
Monday - Friday from 8:50 to 9:10 AM

Dismissal:
Morning dismissal: Monday - Friday from 12:00 - 12:15 PM
Afternoon dismissal: Monday - Thursday from 2:45 - 3:00 PM, Fridays from 1:45 - 2:00 PM.

Before and After School Care:
These services are available on site to supplement the regular academic schedule. They begin at 8 AM and and can go as late as 6 PM.

Inclement Weather:
In the event of bad weather, school closings and late openings are announced on WBAL Television (Channel 11) and WBAL Radio (1090 AM) and the WBAL Website at: http://www.wbaltv.com/closings/index.html
